We are more than just a map!

What We Provide

A black and white photo of a rural dirt road, bordered by a rustic wooden fence. There is a large, leafy tree in the background, and open fields extend into the distance. The scene has a peaceful, countryside atmosphere.

Clarity

The road to septic approval can be confusing.

If your property is less than five acres a soil map is the first step to acquiring a septic permit. Once the soil map is completed by an approved soil consultant, it is provided to your local health department environmentalist.

The soil map provides information about a number of factors.

  • Need for percolation test. In many cases a percolation test is not needed once the soils have been investigated.

  • If a perc test is needed, the soil map provides information vital to which soils require a perc test.

  • The square footage combined with soil rating determines the number of bedrooms your home can have.

  • Proper placement and design of your septic system.

Quality

With over 27 years of soil mapping experience in parts of seven states with expertise in the Tennessee Valley, you can rest assured your soil map is made with accuracy.

Efficiency

Typically, it takes two to four hours to map a site depending on the soil types, topography, and site conditions. The next step is completing the map digitally using ArcPro or by hand depending on the format of the survey plat that is provided. The map will be completed and delivered to you on average within 10 business days.
